One of Nigerian best (if not the best) Indigenous Rap King alive, Olamide Adedeji, known by his stage name Olamide but often called Olamide Baddo and sometime by the alias Baddosneh, shares an emotional letter to the fans through his instagram account.
The YBNL Boss, out of his tight schedule, made out time to pen down this heartfelt message to the fans, an epistle to appreciate his teeming fans, identifying his vulnerabilities as well as acknowledging all the industry hurdles he had to surmount to get to this present state of his music career.
He went on to talk of the discredit comment from people he referred as "Vultures in the industry", towards his music. The comment put the rapper as a Plagiarist to late Da Grin style, something the rapper believe to have almost killed his music career.
The singer who reacted negatively at the 2015 Headies Awards ceremony, after his then artist Lil Kesh failed to win the Next rated Act, also talked about awards and the controversies surrounding it.
To him, Awards is man made and shouldn't be the yardstick to define an artist or a brand, thus, no one should discredit others because he or she have not won any award. He jokingly said that he can buy tons of awards if the money is there or rather still, rob P-Square or D'Banj house for awards.
He concluded by advising his fellow artist to embrace love, accepting everyone's differences so as to make the world a better place.
