Wizkid, prior to the announcement by the company, redeemed his image by playing to be the one that ditched them rather than them ditching him as he stated on his Twitter page; "Officially no longer with GLO, it was nice working with the amazing people at the company, wish the company the best in the future. Love ❤️".
His move was countered by his manager statement which categorically pictured the contract termination to be controlled by the company as he blamed the country current economy recession to be the reason behind the scenario. According to him, the company terminated the contract after his client demand for more money.
"No there’s nothing like that, they still remain a big family, I wish you know how cool the relationship between them is. There’s no issue at all," - Sunday Are (Wizkid Manager) comment.
P-Square contract with the Telecommunication was terminated presumably due to their recent feud among themselves which the company find intolerable.
In the other news, the GLO Telecommunication is set to recruit some of the industry top list and new face who will go by a lower contract deal, just as MTN did, with the likes of Falz, Olamide, Timaya and 2Face idibia on the recruitment list.
